We are very much into getting our clients to learn how to detox their liver and maintain gut health in order to achieve healthy body which includes the skin, the biggest organ of our body.
In this blog, we would like to share our findings on why the liver is important to your skin health.
The health of the liver is vital to vibrancy and clarity of the skin. As liver plays important part to remove toxins such as pesticides from food, medication, alcohol and caffeine. The detox process especially take part between 11pm to 3am at night everyday. It is also responsible for processing hormones. If liver is malfunctioning, toxins and hormones get re-circulated around the body causing adult acne, congestion especially around the chin and dull pigmented skin.
How to maintain liver health?
Here are 3 steps you can start a simple cleanse your liver plan
Step 1:
Wake up and kick start your liver each day with a cup of hot water with lemon, turmeric and fresh ginger.
Step 2:
Eat food that help liver break down toxins. This include cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cabbage and dark green leafy vegetables (watercress, spinach, kale and kai lan). Other foods which helps to detox the liver include berries, citrus fruits , fresh herbs and spices especially turmeric.
Step 3:
